On April 15th MOMS LOVE FOREVER partnered with the Center for Restorative Justice Works for its Get On The Bus (GOTB) visit to California Institute for Women (CIW) in Chino, CA, on April 15, 2023. This year, appx 100 children will be visiting moms at CIW. Children enjoyed breakfast and care packages on the bus rides to CIW and then had lunch and a four-hour visit with mom. Children also had the opportunity to take photos with their moms, play games together, and receive teddy bear gifts from their moms at the end of the visit. Following the visit, children (ages 8-18) are encouraged to participate in a peer support group with other children with moms in jail (www.projectavary.org).
